Freedom 01: Movement
As my recent works have been quite technical and draining, I wanted to create something fast stress free. This piece represents freedom in the form of physical expression, dance and movement. This male propels himself forward and upward with his own strength. Inspired by Bryce Long
Freedom 02: Body
This piece represents freedom of our own body and form. We humans try our best to be clean, and wrap ourselves in clothes to fit into society. This piece is about breaking free from that, stripping it all away and getting messy. Inspired by a photo of Veronika Kramel taken by RhoDana Louise.
Freedom 03: Expression
This piece is inspired by Drag King Dr Wang Newton. This figure exudes swagger. Here is the freedom to break free of gender norms and express fluidity between whatever makes that individual feel most like themselves. Nothing is more freeing than excepting yourself.
Freedom 04a: Club of Four
This piece looks into the future. Right now, we’re all constrained to our homes. We are constrained to those human beings close to us. While video chatting has been around for a while. We’re just starting to see events hosted virtually. In the future it will continue to be and even more so as we spread across the planet and maybe even the universe. A private soirée is no longer confined to a single location in the future. We will be free to dress to impress while connecting with our crews.
